Those words echoed in his head. Poor Ness.. all alone.. he thought to himself..
He would be too scared. He convinced himself that he couldn't just go out into the world.. even in a place where he would never be appreciated, it would be even more scary outside Onett.. but.. he didn't know for sure. He glanced at Picky, who had gone back to sleep..
Giygas... was that the name of this evil guy?

Pokey Minch, also known as Porky Minch (ポーキー・ミンチPōkī Minchi), is a character in EarthBound and Mother 3, but also appears non-canonically in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. A portly and obnoxious next-door neighbor, he is Ness's neighbour in the suburbs of Onett and the older brother of Picky Minch. Pokey's family seems to hold a grudge against Ness's, because his father, Aloysius Minch, allegedly loaned a few hundred thousand dollars to Ness's father (though Aloysius admits it could have been a lot less), and was never repaid.

Meet Companion!Porky, a permanent party member.
Coming along with Ness on the journey, becoming stronger than the coward he was before. He developed a crush for Ness later on, but not being willing enough to admit it, especially in front of a bunch of people Ness met, but he never saw before..

He has psychic abilities, to an extent.
Otherwise, he uses charcol, rocks, and spatulas for non PSI attacks.

The 13 year old couldn't take it anymore.
"PICKY! PICKY!" He cried out, running through the streets of his hometown.
He needed to find him, find him! Days had gone by, weeks, and his parents had done absolutely nothing to find his missing little brother.
He became angered, and decided to run away. But where would he go?
No more Onett.
Anywhere but Onett. Then he realized, he could still catch up to Ness, if he was near. Not too long ago news spread that the Twoson pathway was opened..
That's where Ness must be! So he sped near the back of the town, leaving behind everything as he headed to the next.


To rescue Paula, a girl who was kidnapped. That's what he had been told.
His heart sank for some reason, feeling jealous of his "Paula". Why was she so important? Just some dumb girl..
..But at the same time, he had the joy in his eyes of being accepted by Ness. It wasn't too much to catch up with him, and he decided to himself one thing.
"I'm going to become stronger, do you hear me?!" He said, which surprised the capped boy. Such courage, which was.. almost rare from the chubby little boy.
"I won't.. be a coward anymore! I'm not going to leave your side! Take me with you, wherever you're going.. you're not going alone, I won't let any alien destroy this world!"
